The McClatchy Company publishes 29 newspapers across the United States. Working with Garcia Media, they spent a year developing a unified design language to bring print articles, mobile apps and web editions together with a more consistent overall look and feel. Greg Gazdowicz, Miguel Reyes and Christian Schwartz designed a set of typefaces that helped bridge the gap between design consistency and individual character.
