Makemake is a color font designed as a two-layer system: “Color,” which functions as a solid background, and “Inline,” defined by an outline version. Both variants can be used independently or in combination. The design deliberately explores the minimal spaces between characters and their counterforms, creating a continuous texture where all characters touch one another. The font incorporates a variable axis that allows the color layer to be shifted, generating a motion effect that can be adjusted by the user. It is designed for animation and geared toward display applications in packaging, titles, and compositions with high visual impact.
