Machete positions itself as a hyperbolic and robust extension of the formal line of inquiry initiated with Bayoneta. Although they share a common structural foundation, Machete operates by expanding proportions and saturating visual weight, which distances it from refinement and places it in a category of “distant kinship” defined by extreme volumetry and an assertive presence.
