Specimen Modus Bahuer
Note. Specimen of the typeface Modus Bahuer. Copyright by Samuel Monroy, Camila Garza.

The “Modus Bahuer” typeface arises from the contrast between ideas that create balance: on the one hand, the organic, which flows and takes shape without limits; on the other, the order, strength, and confidence of the industrial.
Inspired by furniture design during the height of the Bauhaus movement in Mexico, the typeface seeks to capture that essence through its modular monotype structure. “Modus Bahuer” represents a creation that breaks free from the influence of the Bauhaus and its proponents in Mexico.
The “Modus Bahuer” typeface is a display font designed to stand out in the fields of architecture, the automotive industry, industrial design, textiles, dystopian literature, and modern art. "Modus Bahuer" is a typeface that seeks to reconcile the industrial and the organic, converging in an expression of modernity.
