Fuga is a hybrid sans serif typeface designed in order to explore the principles of the broad nib pen in a contemporary context. Each letterform has a singular mixture of classic structures and calligraphy reminiscences with endings and cuts to enhance its calligraphic roots and at the same time, its design shows a range of geometric shapes that creates a particular combination of letterforms. The main purpose of this typeface is to be composed in titles or short sentences.
The concept behind the design responds to generating distinctive letterforms that enhance the message creating hierarchy and emphasis in the word. It has a character set with a great variety of alternative characters, which offer different composition possibilities.
